Project "Tocoma Villa"

Puerto Ordaz, is one of the sectors of Ciudad Guayana and is located west of the Caroni municipality. It is a planned city of Bolivar State, in southern Venezuela. Founded in 1952 as a mining export port on the banks of the Caroni River, at the point where it flows into the Orinoco River; Puerto Ordaz is home to mining and hydroelectric companies and has evolved as a thriving well-planned city.

Within the city you can find parks and La LLovizna of Cachamay, with its natural waterfalls of the lower Caroni. Other local attractions include the Ecomuseum Caroní, Represa de Macagua probably the only natural case coming from a natural jump within a city. The fracture of the break of this natural jump presents two natural waterfalls: jump Cachamay next to the city of Puerto Ordaz, with an impressive width of about 800 m.

That's why it is one of the most important urban development in this beautiful state, is TOCOMA VILLA in a unique region in its landscapes. This place has served numerous times as the scene of very famous films including "Arachnophobia" by Stephen Spielberg, or "Jungle to Jungle, "Anaconda" and serving as inspiration for the movie "UP" Disney, with so many special panoramic views.
